Instagram is weird.

I can’t tell you how many people I’ve met because of that stupidly genius platform. Many of them are close friends today.

Anyway… one of those connections is (somehow) Zack Lyman. He’s got this podcast that is also his job (??!!) on top of being a standup comic.

It seems that Zack and I connected well over the internets because we have a lot of the same viewpoints on comedy.

You can be the funniest person in the world, but if you don’t put it out there… you’re probably not going to get very far.

Zack and I both see the value of marketing online, networking in-person, and traveling as much as possible to get onstage in as many places as possible.

He’s been playing this game a lot longer than I have, but that’s just another reason I like talking with him.

It’s nice to hear that someone who’s been involved longer than you sees & acknowledges what you’re doing.
